Discover Utah's State Parks
Sand Hollow State Park
Spend a perfect day in the spectacular setting of Sand Hollow State Park and reservoir. Spanning more than 20,000 acres, Utah’s favorite state park mixes warm blue waters and vibrant red sandstone to create an outdoor playground unlike anything else in the region. Spend a day in the sun boating, fishing, rock crawling, spiking your adrenaline on an ATV, or just relaxing on the sand. Full-service rental options are available for weekly, daily, or half-day use.
Quail Creek State Park
Boasting some of the warmest waters in the state and a mild winter climate, Quail Creek lures boaters and anglers year-round. With a depth of 120 feet, the waters sustain the stocked rainbow trout, bullhead catfish, largemouth bass, and bluegill. Visitors can also hike and explore the reservoir and dams.
Gunlock State Park
Southwestern Utah’s Gunlock State Park is the ideal escape from the busy world. Boat, fish, and swim on the tranquil waters at Gunlock Reservoir, or enjoy an afternoon picnic on the beach. Warm waters during summer, and a mild winter climate make the park a year-round destination. Its red rocks, magical waterfalls (in season), and sparkling waters make this a unique destination.
Snow Canyon State Park
Explore the trails and dunes of beautiful Snow Canyon on foot, bike, or horseback. With majestic views, the subtle interplay of light and shadow, and color dancing across canyon walls, you can discover the secrets of the desert landscape through seasonal and nature programs. There are 38 miles of hiking trails, a three-mile paved walking/biking trail and over 15 miles of equestrian trails. Check out “What’s Happening” on the Snow Canyon website for updated sunrise and moonlit hikes and for canyoneering permits.
