Sand Hollow Resort Wishes Goodwill to Hurricane Robotics Team

Sand Hollow Resort wants to wish goodwill to a Hurricane robotics team, the Team Without a Cool Acronym (TWCA), as they embark on a journey to compete at the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology State Championship (FIRST). FIRST is the world’s leading youth-serving nonprofit that focuses on advancing STEM education. TWCA, a team of nine Hurricane high school students, qualified on January 29 and will be competing in the state championship in April. The students have showcased their professionalism and hardworking ethics in their robotics and other avenues of their lives. Many of them spend their summers mentoring STEM camps for elementary students as well as volunteering.

With the help of their community, TWCA has been excelling forward at an incredible rate and we at Sand Hollow Resort are wishing them success and all the best in their future challenges!
