Sand Hollow Resort welcomes “The Professor of Rock LIVE” with Kenny Loggins on October 6. This once-in-a-lifetime experience features an evening of Loggins’ greatest hits and the intimate stories behind them, as he reveals some deeply private moments from his celebrated, 50-year music career.
The Sand Hollow Resort venue, which is nestled in a visually stunning red rock bowl, is framed by nature’s own red sandstone formations, roofed by crystal blue desert sky, and cushioned with lush, emerald green lawn.
Loggins has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and has won two Grammy® Awards. His chart-topping songs include “This Is It,” “I’m Alright,” “Footloose” and “Danger Zone.” The musician also became the first major rock star to dedicate himself to recording music for children and families. Loggins’ album Return to Pooh Corner remains the best-selling children’s album of the last 20 years.
Professor of Rock (POR) is a worldwide online platform where music fans can gain access to watch mini-documentaries about the greatest songs and artists of the Rock era. Created and hosted by Adam Reader, the “Professor of Rock” — a moniker courtesy of the Beach Boys — the POR sessions are exclusive conversations with artists about life, love, serendipity and the creative process.
