Yant Flat Candy Cliffs:

The Yant Flat Candy Cliffs is a trail you may want to explore more than once. The trail can be anywhere from 2 to 7 miles long, depending on how far you decide to hike. While exploring the Candy Cliffs, you’ll see some of the most spectacular sandstone formations in the area. The Yant Flat Candy Cliffs are 24 miles from Sand Hollow Resort. Make sure you bring plenty of water because there is no place to refill your water bottle at the Candy Cliffs.

Zion National Park:

Zion National Park has over 15 different hiking trails, from paved walking paths to strenuous hiking trails with long drop-offs and high elevations. Spend the day exploring the national park, which is just 33 miles from Sand Hollow Resort.

Aspiration Trail:

Aspiration Trail gets its name from all of the beautifully painted rocks along the trail, which serve to inspire and motivate hikers and walkers. Keep in mind that the hike along the Aspiration Trail is kid-friendly, but not stroller-friendly. The entire path is in direct sunlight, so be sure to bring plenty of water. Aspiration Trail is 20 miles from Sand Hollow Resort. It will be a great hike for you and your family at just under 2 miles roundtrip.

Red Reef Trail:

Red Reef Trail is a great family spot for hiking. The trail is a short hike that includes exciting views for everyone to take in. You’ll hike along a stream until the canyon narrows to a few feet wide. During the remainder of the hike, you’ll see beautiful sandstone cliffs and even walk around a small waterfall. We recommend checking out Red Reef Trail during the Spring or Fall as the stream can dry up in the summer months’ heat. Red Reef Trail is just 18 miles from Sand Hollow Resort.
