GOLF WEEK UPDATE

HURRICANE, UT – The Redrock Roadrunners have announced that Golf Week scheduled to take place this September at Sand Hollow Resort in Hurricane, Utah will be rescheduled for September of next year.

The 2021 edition of Golf Week will include four unique golf events. The Friendship Cup, a home and home competition between golfers from St. Andrews, Scotland and participants from Sand Hollow Resort.

The Charity Cup, featuring teams sponsored by the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL and the Utah Jazz of the NBA. Alumni and staff from both professional sports organizations play alongside business, political and community leaders benefitting area charities.

The inaugural University Cup will also take place with invited University teams BYU, Dixie State, Southern Utah, UNLV, Utah, Utah State, Utah Valley, and Weber State. Former players, local donors, and professionals making up 8 person teams will compete for bragging rights and prize money for their respective programs.

Finally, the 5th annual Sand Hollow Open will be the grand finale as the up and and comers of professional golf compete for the second largest purse in Utah. All Sand Hollow Open winners have gone on to play PGA tour events.

In addition to theses events Golf Week also plays host to the Golf Week Gala an evening celebration of fine food, drink, and top tier live entertainment. Proceeds generated through the Gala also benefit area charities.
